Ocean Drive House
About us
Ocean Drive House occupies a restored 1930s Art Deco building a short walk from the sand at South Beach. The pastel façade, terrazzo floors and porthole windows are original; everything behind them has been rebuilt for travellers who want company without giving up a good night's sleep.
Dorm guests sleep in made-to-measure oak pods with blackout curtains, a reading light, their own sockets, a lockable drawer and hotel-grade linen. Private Queens, Deco Suites with balconies over Ocean Drive and a single Rooftop Penthouse share the same floors, so the whole house has one front door, one café and one roof.
The day starts with Cuban coffee at The Porthole Café and ends at the Coral Room Bar or on the Sky Deck beside the rooftop pool. In between there are bikes and beach kit at the desk, a weekly programme of rooftop yoga, sunset sessions and neighbourhood walks, and a team that knows which corner of Miami Beach you will like.
