A short list of cocktails, Latin small plates and a DJ on weekends, in the room where the hotel's guests have always met.

The Coral Room: rum, mezcal and Florida citrus in the old lobby lounge

The Coral Room was the building's lobby lounge when it opened, and it still has the curved bar and the checkerboard floor. It is open every evening from 5pm, with happy hour until 7.

What to drink

The list is short and changes with the season. Right now it includes a guava daiquiri with a pinch of salt, a passion-fruit mezcal sour and a coconut-washed old fashioned stirred over a single clear cube. There is Florida craft beer on tap and a handful of natural wines by the glass.

What to eat

Small plates come from the same kitchen as the pool bar: twice-fried tostones with garlic-citrus mojo, shrimp ceviche with aji amarillo, beef empanadas with chimichurri and a board of jamón and Manchego with guava paste.

When to come

Thursday at 7pm, for the house welcome drink. Friday and Saturday after 9pm, when the DJ plays and the bar stays open until 2am.
